Album Cover Design Collaboration using mixed media

Students answer questions in 5 minutes about themselves, trade paper with their partners and design each other’s album cover design based on the questionnaire as designers and clients.

 

10th & 11th grade

Dream Diary “Archive'“ where students physically archive their drawings, thoughts, and writings as Artists.

A way to find out more personally about individual students as well as a good method towards making meaningful artwork.

 

1st & 2nd grade

Surrealism Self Portraits using “About Me” drawing chart

Students draw about their dreams, favorite objects, favorite food etc and form a face substituting eyes,nose, and lips with their brainstormed drawings about self with a surrealistic approach after learning about the art movement.

 

5th grade

“Who Am I?”: Crystal Ball

Students answer “10 minutes of You” worksheet where they answer creative questions about themselves timed in 10 minutes. Then they create a crystal ball that best represents themselves from those answers.
